Section 1 – What do we do with your information?

When you purchase something from PepoStore, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, shipping and billing address, email address and phone number (if provided). When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your device's internet protocol (IP) address and information about your browser and operating system. We use this information to process and deliver your orders, communicate with you about them, prevent fraud and improve our store.

Email marketing: with your permission, we may send you emails about PepoStore, new products and other updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Section 2 – Consent

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your payment, place an order or arrange a delivery, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your express consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Section 3 – Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Section 4 – Shopify and payments

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, on secure servers behind a firewall.

Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners and are encrypted according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We never see or store your full card details. For more information, see Shopify's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

All orders are processed in US dollars (USD).

Section 5 – Third-party services

In general, the third-party providers we use (such as payment processors, our fulfillment partners and shipping carriers) only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us, such as delivering your order. Certain providers have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide to them, and some may be located in a different jurisdiction than you or us. We recommend that you read their privacy policies.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service.

Section 6 – Text messages

If you subscribe to text notifications, you agree to receive recurring automated messages at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Section 7 – Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Our website uses SSL encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow PCI-DSS requirements and generally accepted industry standards.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart, remember your session, understand how visitors use our store and, with your permission, measure our advertising. These include Shopify's essential cookies (for example _session_id, cart, _secure_session_id and storefront_digest) and analytics cookies (for example _shopify_visit and _shopify_uniq). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart and checkout from working.

Section 9 – Your rights

Depending on your state of residence (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or Connecticut), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Section 10 – Age of consent

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Section 11 – Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the website. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
